Streamlining Tenant Management on the Platform

The first crucial step in onboarding a new client to your instance of onto the Prism Platform is to create the creation of a tenant. This is achieved by using the Tenant Overview area. This is an area of Prism that enables the user to make changes to The Tenant Overview section offers a comprehensive suite of tools for managing multiple users and tenants across the platform rather than on a tenant by tenant basis.

Creating a New Tenant:

  1. Access Tenant Management:

    • Navigate to the Tenant Management submenu and locate the 'Create a Tenant' page.

  2. Tenant Details:

    • Tenant Name: Enter the client-designated name which will be displayed in the tenant selection menu.

Adding a predefined group of users - Prism allows you to set-up a team of users to be added each time a tenant is created, to save time and keep the process consistent.

Existing Users – This is the inclusion of the security companies staff to be added to the client in order to service them.

New User Email – This is for adding the client users that will have initial access to the newly created Tenant. There should at least be one main point of contact here. Click Add for each user to be included.

Once this information has been completed the table is populated. The PMO team member now needs to assign the users to be added to the tenant to a company and their ACL group(s).

You are required to add a first and last name for each user. Prism will try and shortcut this for you by pre-populating the first and last name based on the email structure (first.lastname@email.com) provided, but this may need to be checked.

Next is to assign the company with which the users are related to.

The final step is to assign the appropriate level of access to Prism for the users that you are adding. This is especially crucial that this is correct as it could allow some users to see data they shouldn’t be.

Finally click save in order to create the tenant with all the details you have entered.

    • Confirm all details and click 'save' to initiate the tenant setup.

  • The process can take between 10 to 30 minutes, subject to operational queues.
