You can add, remove, rename, and see how your tags are being used by navigating to Tag Management, which is found under Settings on the Menu.

The Tag Management interface helps you identify and manage your tags across the your whole Prism tenant. Furthermore it summarise the tags in use and lets you know where tags are being used in your tenant.

The Tags table provides any easy method of identifying unused or duplicate tags to make your reporting and analysis more accurate.

Tags listed within the the table can be sort by ‘total usage’, Tag name, Projects, Phases, Issues, and Assets.

By clicking anyone of the blue bubbles associated to a tag, Prism will redirect you to a filtered view illustrating which Projects, Phase, Issues or Assets that particular tag is assigned.

Features of the Tag Management Interface:

  1. Centralized Tag Overview:

    • Purpose: Facilitates identification and management of tags used throughout your platform tenant.

    • Summary: Offers a summarized view of tag usage, indicating where tags are applied within your tenant.

  2. Tags Table for Simplified Management:

    • Functionality: Easily identify unused or duplicate tags.

    • Sorting Options: Organize tags by ‘total usage’, tag name, projects, phases, issues, and assets.

  3. Interactive Tag Usage Visualization:

    • Tag Interaction: Clicking a blue bubble next to a tag redirects you to a filtered view, showing where that tag is applied across projects, phases, issues, or assets.

    • Example Usage: Navigate to phases with specific Phase-level tags applied.

Managing Your Tags: Simple and Intuitive

  • Adding a Tag: Click ‘Add Tag’ in the top right-hand corner, enter a tag name, and click ‘Create’.

  • Rename Renaming a tagTag:Click on Select the three-dots menu to the right-hand side of your next to a tag and select choose ‘Rename’.

  • Delete Deleting a tagTag:Click on Use the three-dots menu to the right-hand side of your tag and next to a tag to select ‘Delete’.

  • Merge tags: Select Merging Tags: For combining tags, select multiple tags using the check boxes checkboxes on the left-hand side. Click . Then, click ‘Actions’ in the top right-hand corner and select ‘Merge Tags’choose ‘Merge Tags’.
