Issue Regression Alerts in the Platform

The Platform is equipped with a robust Issue Regression feature, designed to notify you of any vulnerabilities that have re-emerged after being previously remediated. This function is crucial for identifying and addressing process or configuration flaws that might lead to recurring issues in your networks and applications.

Understanding Issue Regression:

  1. Monitoring and Detection:

    • The Platform continuously monitors your Vulnerability Scanning projects.

    • It detects instances where a previously remediated issue reappears in a newer scan.

  2. Alert and Notification:

    • Upon detection, the issue is tagged as ‘Regression’.

    • You will receive an email alert regarding the regression.

    • Additionally, a notification will appear in the Platform's Notification Centre, identifiable by the bell icon in the bottom left-hand corner.

Significance of Issue Regression:

  • Identifying Underlying Problems: Helps in pinpointing recurring vulnerabilities, indicating potential gaps in processes or configurations.

  • Proactive Management: Enables proactive measures to prevent the reintroduction of vulnerabilities.
